Welcoming our new Consultant, Andrea

We are excited to share that Andrea Menapace recently joined the Lucent team, expanding our capacity to support a growing number of clients across the charitable, philanthropic and social sectors.

Andrea is an experienced CEO, chair, advisor and university lecturer and trainer. His expertise and passion lies in building collaborative partnerships and movements, and supporting civic engagement, leadership and narrative power, with a particular focus on migration, inclusion, diversity, equality and social justice.

“I am thrilled to be joining Lucent's stellar team, who shares my ambitions to build better and fairer societies. I couldn't imagine a better place to support amazing organizations in unlocking their potential to create lasting impact and a meaningful legacy, especially in such challenging times.” - Andrea

Andrea was the founder and executive director of the Italian Coalition for Civil Liberties and Rights (CILD) in Italy – which grew from an idea to a collaborative platform of more than 40 national human rights organizations - and the founder and chair of Liberties, a network of 11 national civil liberties organizations based in Berlin. Andrea is also a member and the co-director of the post-graduate diploma in Human Rights and NGOs Management at the University of Rome Tre, Italy.

Speaking of the appointment, Katherine shared:

“I am delighted to welcome Andrea to the team. His experience of building collaborations, defending human rights and the philanthropy here and across Europe made him the stand out candidate in a competitive field. The depth and breadth of his experience means that Andrea will be a guide and support to our clients seeking social impact in a complex, ever changing world.”

We look forward to sharing Andrea’s expertise with our clients and wider network, but in the meantime you can get to know Andrea via his LinkedIn.
